Merry Christmas

 

This week both our granddaughters came for a visit as their parents went to do their shopping for the Season.

We enjoyed the garden, the kittens, the teddies and Lego building as well as playing on Grandpa's truck and eating candies.

We also cracked & pealed two dozen nuts to put into our brownies. Love to cook & bake goodies!!

Preschool young children love to be 'happy helpers' & you can keep them under your wing as they work.

May this Christmas Season find us enjoying God's Peace & Joy as we seek Him first!

Home-School & Parenting

Today we want to encourage our Families for the amazing work they are doing at home. Keep on keeping on, alternate activities. Take healthy snacks, sit in the sun, do chores & take some time to do what relaxes you. We love & pray for you often. Well done! Take Care!

Pensar es también sentir

Tomábamos un curso muy interesante en el Colegio con el Profesor Carlos G. Wernicke. Nos explicaba cómo el pensamiento está inexorablemente unido a la emoción y cuán importante es captar la atención de los estudiantes, el despertar la curiosidad, ayudar a cada uno a construir su propio pensamiento. Es crucial que los educadores permitan y alienten el pensamiento lateral, la participación, el hacer preguntas. Con empatía podemos ayudar a construir juntos, aprender a pensar, enseñar a pensar y a regular las emociones.
